The Tillandsia Multiflora is similar to the Tillandsia Abdita and shares its colorful outlook on life. The plants green and sometimes reddish leaves are firmer and smoother then that of the Abdita. During the Tillandsia’s flowering stage it can turn completely red and giver rise to one or more intensely purple flowers bringing life and color to any wall it resides on making for a great conversational piece not to mention a piece of living art. This plant grows in Central America and Mexico and does not like too much water, spray the plant once every week in summer and once every two weeks in winter.
